ProCom goes Hardcore!

Development of our staff, both mental and physical, is paramount to the general well-being of our organisation. Hence, ProCom encourages participation in extra-curricular activities such as this one.

On Sunday August 10th, 2014, seven (7) of our staff members proudly represented the organisation at the annual Hardcore Obstacle Course challenge in Santa Cruz. With very little training and no prior experience, the guys completed all thirty (30) challenges despite the pouring rain and ankle-deep mud.
We are extremely proud of our team...well done guys!

All pumped and ready for the challenge. L-R: Alvin Sookraj, Michael Sylvester, Eric Phillip, Jevaughn Chandler, Ronald Chunilal, Tyrell Andrews and Randy St. Louis

ProCom Receives Stow Certification

On Thursday 13th January, 2014, Process Components Limited (ProCom) was granted STOW certification from the Energy Chamber of Trinidad and Tobago. ProCom's 5-day audit was conducted during the month of October 2013, following which, notification was received that the Company was in compliance with STOW requirements with scores as follows:

  • Total score for Documentation and Records93%

  • Physical condition of Facilities 90%

Mark Laughlin, CEO, ProCom, stated "I am extremely pleased with the outcome. Our team worked arduously to ensure that our Company's processes and procedures were in compliance with the requirements of the audit." He added that the certification placed ProCom in a more competitive position within the industry as they continue to service the Energy sector.

"The adoption of STOW changed the philosophy of safety at ProCom to focus on proactive prevention activities rather than the activation of an emergency plan after an accident has occurred", said Wilman Castillo, then QHSE Manager. He added "Having STOW in place helps to identify and control potential hazards in the workplace and minimize the probability of accidents. At the same time, this promotes good business for our customers."
