ProCom is DNV GL Certified
ProCom's Rigging Division is the local pioneer for achieving internationally recognized DNV certification. The acquisition of DNV 2.7-1 type approval is for the manufacturing of wire rope lifting sets for offshore containers or portable offshore units. The company received news of approval on April 20th, 2015. This certification brings an added value to the local Oil and Gas sector and raises the industry standards to the highest level when it comes to providing DNV 2.7-1 slings sets for Offshore Containers and Portable offshore units. The design and manufacture of sling sets to DNV 2.7-1 introduces higher redundancy factors and less risk for the end users, which increases the level of safety during lifting and cargo handling operations.
